An unexpected response

Around a week ago I wrote a short piece in LinkedIn about the realities of working as a PCN pharmacist. In the article, I discussed how some surgeries were well set up to utilise pharmacists whereas others were not :

In that short space of time, the article went viral and has now garnered over 5000 views with around 55 likes. This is just mind blowing and tells me that the article really resonates with other pharmacists. I was really astounded to see this sort of reaction and really did not expect many people to take much notice through all the social media noise.

The main lesson I learned from this, is that sometimes people think the same thing as us, but are too afraid to speak up or say anything. The truth is, if nobody speaks up then nothing will ever change.

I think that’s a good thought to conclude on.
